The Hauser & Wirth Shop, Bruton, Somerset

We are delighted to announce that we have a new stockist. Hauser & Wirth, Somerset opened their impressive new gallery to the public in July of last year and we are very excited that they are now stocking CommonRoom wallpapers in their gallery shop.

The gallery and its outbuildings make up a multi-purpose arts centre showing the best of contemporary art in a remarkable Somerset landscape. On site there is also a restaurant run by At The Chapel, an award-winning kitchen in Bruton and of course a gallery shop where you can experience and buy our artist-designed papers. It's well worth a visit.
At CommonRoom we wanted to find a way to make high-quality contemporary art accessible to the many rather than the few. We did this by commissioning working artists to design conceptual wallpapers. Wallpaper has generally been thought of as background rather than foreground – but not at CommonRoom. Our wallpapers are designed to challenge and excite. Just like every great artwork.
