WELCOME! Here is my first ever newsletter! My intention is to inform and entertain you with consistent and interactive communication! Hopefully you will find helpful golf information, upcoming events and answers to your questions. I invite you to contact me (by email, phone, website or facebook) with any questions, curiosities or ideas you may have-related to golf. Since this is the first newsletter, I will start by asking YOU a question: What do you eat or drink on the golf course and when?
Here is what I have found helpful for myself...
I have found that my PERFORMANCE can be directly affected by my nutrition. I feel better and play better when I eat every 6 holes or so during a round of golf. I try to stick to something with protein, low sugar and some carbs. The bars in the picture above are my favorite. And I drink water constantly. My latest favorite find is this Mio purple stuff. I find that if I use just a little, it flavors my water enough to make me want to drink more. Ever wondered how much water you need? Here is an article I found from the Mayo Clinic: http://www.mayoclinic.org/healthy-living/nutrition-and-healthy-eating/in-depth/water/art-20044256
So what have you found that you like? I will share a few of your ideas in the next newsletter.
Your performance is measured using a launch monitor at the start. Identify issues affecting performance. Learn practice drills and strategies for improving performance. Hit balls at the end of session with launch monitor and track your progress!
