Lenten Kindness Calendar

The Lenten Kindness Calendar is a great way to journey through Lent with an attitude of gratitude! This year’s calendar has a different task for each of the 40 days of Lent. The calendar will be available on the Stewardship Toolkit. Each day’s path will also be posted on Facebook and Twitter with an image and in some cases a blog post. Join us on our Lenten journey!

Find Us on Twitter

If you aren’t following the Mission & Service Twitter feed @mission_service, what are you missing? News you can use about Mission & Service, just to start—not to mention United Church of Canada news, Gifts with Vision ideas, and connections to others who support the heart and soul of how we live out the calling to seek justice, love kindness, and walk humbly with God. Take a look!

Your 2017 Mission & Service Goals

How often do you get a chance to change the world? Daily through Mission & Service we bring hope, healing and justice to the world. It adds to the vitality of a faith community to be part of something bigger than ourselves.

In this spirit, we invite you to set a 2017 Mission & Service giving goal that is aspirational and achievable—and to invite new people to start making a meaningful annual gift for Mission & Service. And as you finalize your 2017 budget for Mission & Service giving and local church ministry, please share your giving goals with us – by mail, by phone at 416-231-7680, ext. 3050, or online – using the goal-setting form you received in December along with the 2017 Minutes for Mission.

Thank you for all you do for the Mission & Service of the church. What we do together through Mission & Service, none of us could do alone.
