Above (L to R): Pastor Siripawn, NaRi, and Ampai's Sister
Dear <<First Name>>,
How are you? We hope you are doing well. We recently visited the home of the District Superintendent for Northern Thailand. Some of you may have met or remember us writing about DS Simon in the past. His wife’s name is Ampai, and they were terrific hosts to a recent short-term team that visited from Idaho and Oregon.
While the team was at Simon and Ampai’s house, we had a time of fellowship with some of the district leaders, enjoyed a fantastic meal, and had the opportunity to pray for Ampai’s mom, NaRi.
NaRi is a thin, strong Lahu woman, probably in her late 50’s/early 60’s. She developed cancer within the last few months. It started in her liver and has now spread to her jaw. Simon and Ampai have brought her into their home to care for her. It is difficult for her to eat now, and she cannot move by herself. NaRi is a follower of Jesus.
We’d appreciate it if you could join us in praying for NaRi, Ampai, Simon, and their boys during this challenging season. May the Lord heal, comfort, and strengthen this family.
Thank you,
Steve and Rebecca
