Fall into yoga, fall into community

I was recently speaking with a long-time student about environmental issues here in the Bow Valley. She mentioned spending the past 25 years defending our wildlife corridor, and how it would be good to see fresh faces join the debate. How timely! After all, a yoga journey is meant to have us more engaged with the world.

What better way than to become fully informed with issues that can greatly affect our lives? This is a call to action to bravely step into our community, speak kindly with each other, attend open houses, shed pessimism and dig deeper for the truths!

In this course we will uncover some of the modern-day myths of what yoga is and develop some essential practices that can bring more peace and more abundance to the lives of all practitioners. The key to yoga is to learn how the mind works and then acquire some techniques to clear the subconscious mind, so that we can be more present in our daily lives. Choosing to do this on a regular basis, whether you're bendy or not, will improve the quality of your relationships and help cultivate a clear vision of what it is that you are creating in your life.

This workshop will include kriyas, asanas, pranayama, mantra, and spiritual discourse.
