Participants Needed
Focus Groups: Youth & Adult

The SRSLY Manchester Coalition will be conducting focus groups with youth and parents during the 3rd week of the 2015-2016 school year.

Manchester Community School District is allowing the SRSLY Manchester Focus Group Team to conduct youth focus groups on school grounds during school hours. An adult focus group is scheduled to happen after hours on school grounds. Focus Group details are located below.

What are the focus groups about?
Students and Parents will be asked questions about youth alcohol and drug use in Manchester. Participant comments made during the focus group will be kept anonymous and all identifiable information will be removed and presented as combined information with other focus group participant contributions.

What is the purpose of the focus group?
The purpose of these focus groups is to gather qualitative data for a Community Needs Assessment required for the Drug Free Communities Grant. This will allow SRSLY Manchester to identify problem areas related to youth alcohol and drug use, choose and implement evidence-based prevention programming that fits the community’s needs, and increase prevention resources in Manchester.
