The Shanghai New International Expo Centre was the venue of the most important tourism fair in Asia: the China International Travel Mart (CITM). On 13 - 16 November more than 1.200 buyers and 900 foreign businessmen had the chance to meet in order to participate in business rounds and conferences, and get to know the trends of the Asian market. Mexican President to visit China, attend APEC summit
Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto will pay a state visit to China and attend the 22nd Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Economic Leaders’ Meeting in Beijing from Nov. 10 to 13, Foreign Ministry spokesman Qin Gang announced on Nov 3.
Argentina progresses in the negotiations for cooperation with Vietnam
The Ministry of Agriculture participated in the Fourth Joint Commission with the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. Officials from different ministries of the two countries participated in the two work sessions. (News in Spanish).
Chile and Vietnam reaffirm the high growth potential of the bilateral trade within the framework of the FTA
Before the first year of validity of the Free Trade Agreement (FTA), between Chile and Vietnam, both countries held the first meeting of the Free Trade Commission, which is part of the institutionalism of the Agreement, created with a view to maintaining a close relation and constant assessment about the progress of this bilateral agreement, which entered into force on 1º January of this year. An investments agreement between Uruguay and Japan was agreed

Private-Public Agricultural Caravan to be Sent to Latin America
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, together with the Rural Development Administration, will send a private-public “agricultural caravan” to Brazil, Peru and Colombia. During its visit to the Latin American countries from November 13 through 21, the caravan will seek to build a network with those countries through cooperation on agricultural technology.
