Training activities in business Mercosur – ASEAN
 
The Coordinator of the Latin America - Asia Pacific Observatory, Ignacio Bartesaghi, participated in the course: “Programa de Capacitación en negocios Mercosur – ASEAN” (Training program in business Mercosur - ASEAN).

High Level Experts Meeting
 
The Coordinator of the Latin America - Asia Pacific Observatory participated, on 28 November, in the high level experts meeting organized by Fundación ICBC and Universidad Nacional de Tres de Febrero.
 
The Latin America - Asia Pacific Observatory launches the third debate of the Academic Forum called: BRICs, rapprochement between Brazil, China and India?

International Electronic Symposium about Chinese Politics
 
Call of the Fifth International Electronic Symposium V about Chinese Politics, an initiative of the Observatory of Chinese Policy that seeks to open a debate time about the situation of the Asian giant in several subjects (politics, economy and society, foreign relations and security and defense) coinciding with the lianghui, the yearly sessions of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and the National People’s Assembly, in March 2015. Investments Seminar of the State of Jalisco
 
Within the framework of the working visit in Japan of the Governor of Jalisco, Mtro. Aristóteles Sandoval Díaz, the Investments Seminar of the State of Jalisco, organized by ProMéxico, with the sponsorship of this Embassy, was held on 7 November, at “Espacio Mexicano” of the Mexican Embassy. Representatives from more than 25 Japanese companies participated. (News in Spanish).
 
Colombia, seeking more Chinese travelers
 
The Shanghai New International Expo Centre was the venue of the most important tourism fair in Asia: the China International Travel Mart (CITM). On 13 - 16 November more than 1.200 buyers and 900 foreign businessmen had the chance to meet in order to participate in business rounds and conferences, and get to know the trends of the Asian market. Mexican President to visit China, attend APEC summit

Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto will pay a state visit to China and attend the 22nd Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Economic Leaders’ Meeting in Beijing from Nov. 10 to 13, Foreign Ministry spokesman Qin Gang announced on Nov 3.

Argentina progresses in the negotiations for cooperation with Vietnam

The Ministry of Agriculture participated in the Fourth Joint Commission with the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. Officials from different ministries of the two countries participated in the two work sessions. (News in Spanish).

Chile and Vietnam reaffirm the high growth potential of the bilateral trade within the framework of the FTA

Before the first year of validity of the Free Trade Agreement (FTA), between Chile and Vietnam, both countries held the first meeting of the Free Trade Commission, which is part of the institutionalism of the Agreement, created with a view to maintaining a close relation and constant assessment about the progress of this bilateral agreement, which entered into force on 1º January of this year. TPP Ministers of Trade de had a meeting in Beijing

On 8 November, in Beijing, China, a new meeting of Trade Ministers of the countries that are part of the negotiation of the Transpacific Partnership Agreement (TPP) was held. (News in Spanish).

In Meeting with President Bachelet from Chile, Li Keqiang Highlighted the Cooperation Promotion of Mutual Benefit and Win-Win between China and Chile and China-Latin America

On 10 November 2014, State Council of the People's Republic of China Li Keqiang had a meeting with the President of Chile Michelle Bachelet at the Gran Palacio del Pueblo. (News in Spanish).
 

 An investments  agreement between Uruguay and Japan was agreed

The mentioned agreement is the result of the negotiations begun on October 2012, which establishes a legal regime for investments that will contribute to improve the negotiations framework for investors from both countries. (News in Spanish).


Private-Public Agricultural Caravan to be Sent to Latin America

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, together with the Rural Development Administration, will send a private-public “agricultural caravan” to Brazil, Peru and Colombia. During its visit to the Latin American countries from November 13 through 21, the caravan will seek to build a network with those countries through cooperation on agricultural technology.

Premier discusses rail project with Mexican President

Premier Li Keqiang expressed his regret over the Mexican government’s scraping of a high-speed rail deal with a China-Mexico joint consortium when meeting with Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto in Beijing on Nov 11.


Cooperation between Panama and Taiwan will attend the priority areas for the national development

Within the framework of the official visit to the Republic of China (Taiwan), the Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs, Luis Miguel Hincapié, signed with the Political Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of China (Taiwan), Simón Shen-yeaw Ko, a letter of intent in order to strengthen the cooperation for benefiting the most vulnerable sectors of the country. Xi Jinping Holds Talks with President Enrique Peña Nieto of Mexico, Stressing Promotion of Development of China-Mexico Comprehensive Strategic Partnership

President Xi Jinping held talks with President Enrique Peña Nieto of Mexico at the Great Hall of the People. The two heads of state charted the course and painted the blueprint for the development of the China-Mexico relationship, and decided to forge a new cooperation pattern of "1+2+3" to promote the development of the China-Mexico comprehensive strategic partnership.
 

Xi Jinping Attends Informal Meeting of BRICS Leaders, Stressing That BRICS Countries Should Build Consensus and Strengthen Solidarity and Cooperation

President Xi Jinping participated in the meeting of leaders of the countries of the BRICS where opinions were exchanged and positions about cooperation between the member countries.
