Call for essays 2014
The Latin America - Asia Pacific Observatory launches the invitation for the presentation of the essays about the economic and trade relations between Latin America and Asia Pacific.
 
First call to the Academic Forum- Support for book to be published in 2014
An official announcement is included among the activities defined for the Academic Forum established within the scope of the Latin America – Asia Pacific Observatory, convoking all interested to submit their books on the topic Latin America - Asia Pacific.
 
Visit of the Coordinator to Proinvex Panama
The Coordinator of the Observatory, Ignacio Bartesaghi, visited the Investments Promotion Agency of the Ministry of Trade and Industry of Panama (Proinvex).

Meeting with academicians of Panama
The Coordinator of the Observatory, Ignacio Bartesaghi, had a meeting with academicians of the Universidad Católica Santa María La Antigua de Panamá.
 
Meeting with Cuban academicians in Havana, Cuba
The Coordinator of the Latin America - Asia Pacific Observatory visited the Center of World Economy Research of Havana, Cuba.
 
Academic visit of Thailand
On 29 April 2014, Dr. Jakarin Srimoon, Dean of the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce of Thailand visited the offices of the Observatory, with the Ambassador of Thailand in Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay, Medha Pronthep, and the Second Secretary of the Embassy of Thailand in Buenos Aires, Areeya Prajunpanich.
