The so-called mega negotiations such as the TPP (signed but not in force yet), the RCEP, and the Transatlantic agreement, promote a new international agenda that not all the States are part of.

In order to seek a better understanding of the meaning of the relations and characteristics of the Peru-China market, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the consultancy firm EY (antes Ernst & Young) and the Peru – China Chamber of Commerce presented today the “Guía de Negocios e Inversión Perú-China 2016/2017” (Peru-China 2016/2017 Investments and Business Guide). Thai University recognizes support of Cuba

The Siam University presented the Cuban Ambassador, Víctor Ramírez Peña, with a seal and a plaque signed by the President (Vice-Chancellor), Prof. Pornchai Mongkhonvanit, in recognition of Cuba due to the support given to the institution. (News in Spanish).


FEALAC Cyber Secretariat to Hold its 6th Workshop

The sixth workshop of the Cyber Secretariat of the Forum for East Asia-Latin America Cooperation (FEALAC) will take place in Seoul on May 18, bringing together delegations from some 30 FEALAC member states in East Asia and Latin America.


Embassy of Honduras in Korea presented the Korea Foundation with children’s books

Seoul, Korea. The Embassy of Honduras in South Korea donated a set of Honduras children’s books to the Korea Foundation, within the framework of the celebration of the 25º Anniversary of such foundation and Month of Family 2016, called “Encuentro con el Mundo a través de los Libros Infantiles” (Encounter with the World by means of Children’s Books). The Government of Japan launched the initiative of the Exchange Program “Together!! Japan – Latin-America and the Caribbean” in 2016, in order to carry out the personal exchange among the Latin-American and Caribbean countries with Japan and to promote the understanding on politics, economy, society, culture, history and diplomacy of Japan in this region, counting on the cooperation of the Facultad Latinoamericana de Ciencias Sociales FLACSO as the organization of partners. Workshop on the development of SMEs in Taiwan

McClay to progress NZ’s trade agenda at APEC

Cuba and China widen the cooperation in the biotechnological sector

During the productive working visit in Chengdu, capital of the Province of Sichuan, the Ambassador Alberto Blanco Silva and the Cuban delegation integrated by the Cuban Directors and Scientists of the Grupo BIOCUBAFARMA were received by Tang Liangzhi, Mayor of the city of Chengdu, who recalled his visit to Cuba and declared in favor of widening the bilateral cooperation in the biotechnological sector. China seeks inspiration in the Chilean ethical family income to lower the poverty levels

Joaquín Lavín gave two lectures on Monday and Tuesday in Beijing. The former Minister of Social and Academic Development of the UDD was invited by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and the Beijing Normal University in order to lecture on the Chilean experience about the reduction of poverty levels.
