Daily updates on the press coverage of startups

A pretty slow day for coverage across the board as the holidays near. The big news (covered widely, naturally) was Crowdtilt's raising $23mm from Andreeson and others. Overall coverage tended to focus on consumer offerings ('tis the season) and product launches (TechCrunch covered seven).

Highlights of today's coverage:

TechCrunch and PandoDaily covered the launch of Entitle's new "Netflix-style" ebook subscription service and $5.3mm raise.

Pebble got coverage in The Verge and TechCrunch  foe their initiative to give schools 4000 watches to hack on.
