Hospitality stakeholders are invited to comment on a proposal seeking to establish two apprenticeships in Western Australia. The proposed apprenticeships are for Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery and Certificate III in Hospitality (Restaurant Front of House). The consultation period has been extended to 2 September 2016 and responses can be submitted through letters of support or by completing a dedicated survey:

Public submissions are now open to inform a review of the data policy that underpins Australia’s Vocational Education and Training (VET) system. The review is an important opportunity to improve the transparency and efficiency of VET. The closing date for submissions is 16 September 2016.
