Junior sprinter Isaiah Taylor was known for his speed from a young age. Classmates would challenge each other to race him – "You are fast, but you can't beat Isaiah" – so Taylor realized he had something special.
In ninth grade, Taylor wrote his vision in an email, saying he would make a name for himself at his high school and he would earn a scholarship to UM for his sport. Check. Read his story here.

Dude, where's my car?
No injuries, but one very damaged car was the outcome of an incident on campus last night during which a student drove his vehicle into the canal next to Whitten University Center. The driver reportedly lost control while speeding up to take someone else's parking spot.
