You've heard about how terrible this year's flu season has been

Good news, though. Although it may not feel like it, the rate of infection at the University of Miami is slightly lower this year than last year. One hundred and forty one patients at the UM Student Health Center have tested positive for the flu.

We thought all the coughing and sneezing around us might be because people weren't using hand sanitizer enough, so we checked the disinfectant dispensers around campus to see if they were full.

Delta Gamma is under investigation for alleged hazing
The women's fraternity is known around campus for recruiting attractive and wealthy members (remember this video?) but now it's in the spotlight for a different reason. The Dean of Students mandated the sorority cease all operations on Wednesday after DOSO received reports that the women may have violated the university's hazing and alcohol policies.

Some other women are #winning though. The Hurricanes basketball team defeated the Wake Forest Demon Deacons last night, advancing Miami to the ACC Tournament quarterfinals.

Looking for something to do this weekend?

Students from the Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science will be educating local kids about the environment at Art Sea, a daylong program happening at Historic Virginia Key Beach Park.

Women's History Month just started, so tributes on the great women in our lives are in order. Columnist Alexandra Diaz writes this week about the disconnect between her Cuban mother's "feminist" actions and how her mom sees the modern-day women's movement.

It's a brand new month and soon to be a new moon, so why not a new you? Get inspired to take control of your tech hygiene by reading TMH Managing Editor Annie Cappetta's reflections on her month long social media cleanse

And you know we always have to bring you the jams...Check out Edge Editor Haley Walker's weekend playlist. Listen to it on your drive home from work to unwind or while you plan your own ice cream tour of Miami (we have some ideas).
Have a great weekend.
