Update: FY 2015 TSDMA Tax Assessment Invoices will be mailed JULY 25, 2014. Your first payment will be due AUGUST 15, 2014.

Your first payment is due August 15 instead of the normal July 15 this year due to an upgrade in our TSDMA accounting system. We were delayed in getting the invoices out to you. (This update will allow us to send digital due date and past due reminders via email). All other payments will be due on the same quarterly schedule as last year. The TSDMA Board of Directors voted to keep the TSDMA tax assessment rate the same as FY 2014.

On receiving your assessment, if you feel there is an error with the assessed amount due please follow these procedures as per our TSDMA by-laws: 1) the bill must be paid on time or a late interest charge will be assessed and 2) you are responsible for notifying the TSDMA in writing of your challenge (you can send the notification to my attention, requesting confirmation that it has been received) 3) set an appointment for your property to be reviewed, re-assessed via a site visit with an assessor.

If the assessment is found to be incorrect, an accounting adjustment will be made with one of the following outcomes:
1) a reimbursement check promptly issued, 2) a new assessment invoice at a higher percentage issued with balance due immediately due, or 3) no action based on the assessment being judged as correct. You will be notified in writing on the assessor’s findings.
