Winter usually means a change of focus - but there has been no quiet time in the workshop for us as I've received some big news!!!

I'm thrilled to announce that I have been selected for next years Headland Sculpture on the Gulf along with 30 other NZ Sculptors.
Mario and I will be constructing three 6 metre high kinetic dandelion clocks on Waiheke Island during January for this prestigious exhibition which runs from 23 January to 15 February 2015.

The Waiheke Art Gallery will be exhibiting my work in their 'Essence' show featuring objects by significant New Zealand Women artists, including Jin Ling (ceramics), Chris Cathie (cast glass), Bronwynne Cornish (ceramics), Emily Siddell (wire and glass), Merilyn Wiseman (ceramics), Lonnie Hutchinson (metal), Zita Waldron (bronze), Marian Fountain (bronze) and myself.
The show runs from 29 August to the 29 September - and a trip on the ferry to Waiheke Island is always a lovely day out!

My Dandelion Clocks and Parasols have now been installed at the newly established
Scape Sculpture Park in Kapiti and they are having an open weekend to celebrate on 20 and 21 September.
They have a fantastic selection of large outdoor work from New Zealand Sculptors, and resident Artist
Bee Doughty-Pratt in a wonderful setting and it is all for sale!
The Park's inaugural Exhibition ran from Queens Birthday until 16 June and their Spring Exhibition runs from Labour Weekend until 16 November to coincide with the Kapiti Arts trail.
The Park is also open for viewing by special appointment.

I make my Dandelion Clocks in 3 different sizes and they are available through me, the
Little River Gallery or Scape Sculpture Park
