We are open!

After what seems like a long long time, Play B C Preschool is now open.  We are very pleased to welcome our first children who have been settling in nicely.  We have had a number of visits from prospective families and we hope that our little community will soon grow.

The adventure playground unfortunately has taken longer to build than expected.  With the expansion of schools in the borough over the summer, lifting equipment has been very sought after.  However, it is hoped that the job will soon near completion.

Play B C Parents

To ensure the children have access to drinking water can you please send your child in with a beaker. You can fill it at home or we are happy to fill them at the preschool.  Can we just request that you do not fill beakers with anything other than water.

Now that the weather is getting cooler, please send a coat or jacket in with your child.  We would also appreciate it if you could send in a change of clothes and spare nappy or two.

Please bring in pair of wellies to leave at the preschool for rainy days, if you haven't yet already done so.

We are considering having a uniform, perhaps just a polo shirt worn with tracksuit bottoms.  We would be interested to know your views.

We hope that your children are enjoying their time with us as much as we are enjoying having them.  We will be emailing you a questionnaire to get your views on your Play B C experience so far.

Getting to know you

Our theme for this half term is getting to know you. We will be finding out all we can about our new children, their favourite people, foods, books and activities.
