Transition Town Dorchester update

February's Top Tips
1. It’s getting chilly, so line your curtains.
Good curtains with thermal linings help keep you warm and cosy, reduce heat loss and therefore your energy bill.
How to line your curtains
2. Lag your pipes
If you have unlagged hot water pipes, you’ll run more hot water – that’s a waste of water and energy, and costly especially if your water is metered.

3.Go Fairtrade for a Fortnight - 29th Feb – 13th March
What did you have for breakfast?  Coffee from Kenya, bananas from Columbia, sugar from Malawi?  Did the people who grew your food get a fair wage.  One way to be sure of this is to choose Fairtrade products.  How about adopting one new Fairtrade product this fortnight?
