New Green Flag Assessors now trained
The South West now has 9 new Eco-Schools Green Flag assessors, thanks to the keen volunteers that attended the training course in Dorchester. They're now raring to go into schools to find out how children have been involved in making their schools greener. Find out more.
Help Transition Town Dorchester (TTD) plant trees
TTD has started planting a forest garden, with trees donated by the Woodland Trust and others bought through CLS. We have planted 200 trees and with 500 still to plant, any offers of help gratefully welcomed! info@transitiontowndorchester.org

1.  FOOD SWAP QUANTITY FOR QUALITY – Christmas is coming, so this year treat yourself to QUALITY not quantity. Choose good quality food grown or raised locally, good for you, good for the environment and good for the local economy. For seven things you can do about food, click here

Stepping into Nature
Stepping into Nature is a project being developed to enable people living with dementia and their carers to connect with the landscape in a sociable and creative way. 
The Dorset AONB team would like to hear about how you access the natural & cultural landscape by completing a survey.
