November Top Tips
1.    Avoid – recycling is great but it still takes energy to turn it back into something else.  Reducing reusing and avoiding are much higher up the waste hierarchy!  So how about taking part in this year’s Buy Nothing Day – 27th November
2.     Fix your draughts – you lose 15% of your heat there.
These videos can show you how or come along to a FREE draughtproofing workshop on 23rd January 2016, venue to be confirmed register your interest here
3.    Take a short shower- when you take a short shower instead of a long shower or a bath, you are saving, water, energy, money and time!  That’s a WIN WIN WIN WIN situation!
Dorset Community Action Conference & AGM
Working Together - the future of local government and Dorset’s voluntary sector.

Thursday morning, 10th December 2015 at Kingston Maurward College

DCA want to do something a little different for the DCA AGM this year.  With so many current changes in central government policy and the public sector that will have profound implications for us all, DCA want to use this year’s AGM as an opportunity to get together to agree how we can work more closely as a voluntary, community, and social enterprise network during these challenging times.  The focus will be on participation, though we intend to introduce the session with a key note speaker.

DCA view this as a critical time for the future of the VCSE sector for the next five years and beyond, so do hold the 10th December to join us to be part of that future…….

Look out for further details to be announced shortly.
