Green Fingers at the Tithe Barn

On Saturday 28th July our ‘Summer Fruit, Vegetables and Flowers’ competition took place at the Tithe Barn.

Prize winners ranged from 3 years of age to 83 years. Our thanks go to Judge Philip Whaites, National Trust Head Gardener, as well as to Scotsdales garden centre, in Horningsea, for donating incredibly generous prizes for the competition winners. Every child entrant received a certificate and a prize.

Some of our personal favourite entries were within the child category of ‘Best Ugly Veg’. Incredible creativity was shown!
