New Parking Lot Flow for HERO
The new parking lot system seems to be working well. The idea is to have ALL cars come in the south entrance, pass through lane 1 (next to the entrance of the Activity Center).  Dropping off or continuing through to the north exit off Broadway.

No large/over sized vehicles (trucks, suburbans, 16 passenger vans, etc) or student's driving their own vehicles are allowed to park in the parking lot by the Activity Center. They will need to park in the parking spaces by the basketball hoops and near the main church building on the north side of the parking lot.

The parent position of Parking Lot Patrol is stationed outside of the Activity Center wearing a neon vest (provided by HERO).  They should make eye contact, assure safety of students & answer any questions for the church or HERO.  Being present for the kids crosswalk when they are crossing & a car is approaching, being a greeter by assisting with the door when teachers, students & moms have their hands full, helping the heating & cooling of the building so doors are not held open.  Assist the playground as you can hear & be the first responded if an incident were to occur.  It is sheltered from the weather, inside is close for cold days, AND it is the highest spot in the lot that allows you to see over the parking lot for suspicious activity & added safety.
