Spread the Word: TimelapseTO & the Next Class of YU Ambassadors WEB VERSION

Do you know any young people who may be interested being a YU Ambassador?

CUI is currently recruiting a new class of YU Ambassadors to be part of the TimelapseTO initiative. It’s a great opportunity for youth to build civic leadership skills, meet new people and grow their networks. Youth (18-24) can apply online until April 15th.

Please pass along this message and consider putting up the project poster.

YU Ambassador Program
YU Ambassadors are young people between the ages of 18-24 who volunteer their time to represent, contribute and/or promote Project YU. The next “class” of Ambassadors will be focused on helping to deliver TimelapseTO workshops in neighbourhoods across Toronto in Spring and Fall 2017. YU Ambassadors will also have the opportunity to participate in a Civic Leadership Training Workshop.

TimelapseTO invites youth of all ages, from across Toronto to imagine, design and discuss the future of their neighbourhood.  In June and September 2017, 5 workshops will be held across the city. At each event, participants will use large-scale maps and colourful, tactile materials, to learn about the changes happening in their community and participate in conversations about where they live.
