The European Enterprise Promotion Awards saw some fierce competition from across the participating countries. Now that we have met all
the national winners we need to wait for the Jury to finish reviewing applications and announce the shortlist at the end of September! Stay tuned...

Do you have an opinion to share but don’t know how or where? How to get it noticed? Now is your chance! The Youth Essay Competition is an opportunity for youth between the ages of 16-25 to submit inspiring essays on European topical issues. ECOSTAR – The custom-built accelerator and entrepreneurship hub for nature based business

Is it possible to innovate and be entrepreneurial whilst still respecting the environment? Selling eco-friendly ideas may not be easy for new business and those looking to break into the market, so this month Promoting Enterprise has focused on those already doing just that and what kind of support is out there for budding eco-entrepreneurs!

Eco-Innovation: When business meets the environment

The Eco-innovation action plan aims to prove that innovation does not have to be separate from being sustainable and environmentally friendly. In fact, many of the projects supported under the eco-innovation scheme prove that the two go hand in hand!

European Enterprise Promotion Awards 2017 update

The entry deadline for the European level of the EEPA competition closed on 3rd July. This year the standard was exceptional and the 2017 candidates are both varied and inspiring. Now the secretariat team is checking and preparing the entries for evaluation by the Jury. Keep up with all the latest EEPA news on the Promoting Enterprise News Portal, the shortlist will be announced by the end of September!

In 2017 305 National EEPA entries were received from 32 participating countries.  

An analysis of drivers, barriers and readiness factors of EU companies for adopting advanced manufacturing products and technologies

This month the featured publication is a European study on advanced manufacturing technologies (AMT). AMT are key to industrial competitiveness, growth and job creation in Europe. This study identifies the main reasons for their adoption by companies and shows that the uptake of these technologies creates benefits to SMEs from, not only a technological but also an economic perspective.
