March 2016: Special Updates and Book Reveal!

Friends! It’s been a crazy busy month with school things and hockey things and this tennis elbow thing, but I’m super excited to share some special updates (yay!) with you in this month’s newsletter:
  • BOOK COVER REVEAL -  My publisher gave me permission earlier this month (woo hoo!) to share the title and cover of my new book with you below! You're the first to see it. It won't be made public until it's been listed on Amazon in the next few weeks.  Live Full, Walk Free is a journey through 1 Corinthians that encourages women to choose a different way of life. I cannot wait for you to see - and to read - the finished product! Stay tuned for additional details.
  • GREECE! - In order to put the finishing touches on Live Full, Walk Free, my guy and I are headed to Greece tomorrow (!) to do some "field research" aka a study tour of Biblical Greece. On the agenda? A stop in Philippi to visit the Church of Lydia and Paul and a few days in Athens and ancient Corinth. Exceptionally grateful to have this opportunity to explore where Paul lived for 18 months helping the young church gain its footing, but even more grateful to be able to share all that we learn with you in this new book! Would absolutely covet your prayers as we leave our kiddos in some very capable hands and travel over these next several days.
  • FILMING IN GRAND RAPIDS - Pretty soon we'll be filming in Grand Rapids for Live Full, Walk Free. If you're interested in being in the audience, I'd love to have some familiar, happy faces in the crowd. You can sign up here. More information to come soon.
Friends, around this time last year I was knee-deep in a book proposal. I had no idea that this is where I'd be one year later. I'm feeling pretty overwhelmed with gratitude for what God has done – and continues to do – in my life, and I'm praying that you are too. Keep seeking Him in all things. He is working on your dreams. You need only be still.
"Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be glory." (Ephesians 3:20-21)

  • Blog - We're about 2.5 half months into the New Year, and I'm doing okay with my recommittment to blogging. As always, if there is a particular subject you'd like me to write about, I'd love to hear it! You can connect with me anytime here
  • Upcoming events - The Good News is only Good News if it's shared! And that's one of my very favorite things to do. A few of the larger events I'll be speaking at in 2016 are listed below, but if you'd like to see a full list of engagements, look here

Thank you!
