We can be honest right? I mean, we're family.
It's been a great holiday week but right now I've got a thumping headache and I'm way behind on tomorrow's message. "Way behind" might even be too generous. I've got my title and theme and that's about it. Uh oh! I'm sure it will all come together fine but, right now, I just want to eat a piece of pie and take a nap.
I just finished a training time for the team of people going to Guatemala the first week of December. I'm the only one going from our church family but I'm excited to be leading another team of 10. I've got so many things to pull together this week.
What about you? Busy? Office party, family party, club gathering, shopping and 4 holiday events? You have to get to your niece's dance recital and then there's the family tradition of going to the Nutcracker too. It's a crazy time of year for all of us.
My hope is not to get lost in the rush. I want to set the table of my life to include both the nutritious and delicious. The problem comes when others add more dishes and the menu of options continues to grow. We're going to talk about setting our life tables in December.
Tomorrow, we are going to wrap up our Bridge series talking about how Jesus establishes a connection with one another that he uses in extraordinary ways. We'll talk about things that work to wipe out those bridges and talk about bridge maintenance too.
MONDAY NIGHT AT 6 you should come decorate with us.
