Right place? Right time? Right response? What comes as a result? God does amazing things!
But when is the "right time?" Where are these "right places" where God often calls? The right response is faith and trust and "here I am, God. Send me!" Sunday we will talk about steering ourselves toward those right places so and listening for God's voice. We'll talk about right response and what comes as opposed to wrong response and the natural and even spiritual outcomes that come.
Life happens to all of us. The sun shines, the rain falls, good times and tough seasons ... they happen to us all. Usually all we can control is how we respond. Thankfully, God has provided us with his Word and all we need in order to respond. When we choose to follow what God says, he blesses exponentially. When we choose to ignore, things just get worse.
Interested in our next trip to Guatemala in 2020?

Who's Going to Win the Superbowl?
Actually, I'm more interested in who is going to win our SOUPer Bowl! Even all of you non-sports fans can get into this one. We are again collecting canned good and food staples for the pantries we support but, we're having some fun with it. Bring in some supplies and leave them near the logo of the team you think will win. (Feel free to leave them under the Rams logo to make us Patriots fans bring in more just to prevent a Ram SOUPer Bowl win!)
Cabin Fever Chili Cookoff
It's coming up February 10. Enter a chili or bring a side or dessert if you can. Lots of things go with chili. Hang out after our worship gathering and have some fun. Will Steve Verrill repeat as champion and win the Golden Ladle again?
Have you checked out our Immigrant Church Plant?
Exciting things are happening and God is on the move in our Sunday afternoon immigrant service and church plant. We've started working on a webpage and are working on helping people get settled and connected. Please feel free to come join in on a Sunday afternoon even if you don't speak the language. Look at http://www.fbcwestbrook.com/GPA/ that is starting to take shape.
God's doing a lot of great stuff with us and through us. I hope, whether you are part of our church body or another, that you are watching for where He would have you jump in.
I hope to see you Sunday.
Stay off the ice disk,
Join us Sunday morning at 8:45 for breakfast and discussion round tables. Everyone is welcome!
