What are you up to this weekend? We're taking our grandkids to York Animal Kingdom on Saturday and then Sunday after worship together, we'll have some more family fun. Maybe it will be a neighborhood s'mores night in our front yard around the firepit. Yum. We Linscott's love our family time and this grampa is so happy that my kids are teaching their kids that gathered worship is very important.

Sunday morning we will start getting into the comparison between biblical friendships and what friendships have come to be today. It's a pretty big difference and it presents an interesting challenge of how we go about defining our "squads" and then setting our #squadgoals while maintaining our relationship circles. Plan to be with us!

Did you get your new FBC shirt yet? They open up opportunities for conversations and to invite people to come check out our church family. They will be available again on Sunday. $15 & $17 for xxl+. Plus, $4 from every shirt supports our 2020 mission trip.

I hope you'll be able to join us. Even though summer is short we all need each other and worshipping together is important. You could be the encouragement that someone else needs.

And, if you have been away, please remember that the expenses of your church's ministry continue through the summer. We are thankful for all who give faithfully at www.easytithe.com/fbcwestbrook

Hope to see you at our yard sale. If you have things to donate, we will be setting up tonight from 6-8.

Compelled by Grace.

How would our Sunday mornings change if we followed Rebecca McLaughlin’s “Three Rules of Engagement at Church?”
  1. An Alone Person in Our Gatherings Is an Emergency
  2. Friends Can Wait While We Reach Out
  3. Introduce Newcomers to Someone Else and Make Connections
