A song is now stuck in my head
Now that I am video-pastor, I edit videos a lot. I have to match up timestamps, drop in words and manage transitions. Honestly, it's pretty boring and I'm not enjoying it much. But, I now have a tremendous appreciation for the people who do this type of thing day-in-and-day-out. You play and replay and play again to make sure everything is timed exactly right.
While editing the music piece these lyrics took root in my head. Ed and Nora are teaching it to us this week and I love it.
The Lord bless you
And keep you
Make his face shine upon you
And be gracious to you
The Lord turn His face toward you
And give you peace
The other song stuck in my head is the old classic Doxology: Praise God from whom all blessings flow! Praise him all creatures here below! ...
How on Earth are we supposed to praise God during this time? Is it even possible? YES! YES! YES! I hope you join us Sunday morning at www.facebook.com/firstbaptist.westbrook at 10 AM because we are going to spend some time focusing on how to praise God even in difficult times.
I'm praying. I hope you are praying too! Reach out if you have needs. Let's lean on each other and be the Body described in Scripture.
Love you guys!
