RHI Degression Rates Announced

The Departement of Energy & Climate Change published their quarterly assessment of RHI expenditure at the end of November.

The small biomass tariff for the non-domestic RHI will be degressed by 10% on 1st January 2015 for new accreditations from 7.6p to 6.8p per kWh.

The domestic RHI biomass tariff will be degressed by 10% on 1st January 2015 for new accreditations from 12.2p to 10.98p per kWh.

Akvaterm Accumulator Technical Update

Akvaterm are now offering the AKVA range with an increased thickness on the seamless polyurethane insulation from 100mm to 130mm.

We have added an extra column to the AKVA pricing page on the installers accumulator tank price list to cover this option.

There is also a technical sheet showing the heat losses for the 100mm seamless polyurethane insulation with a temperature differential of 50°C and 70°C against 100mm seamless polyurethane insulation /plastic foam/rockwool and polyester fibre thermal stores.

Biomass Suppliers List

It has been announced that the Biomass Suppliers List will come into effect from Autumn 2015 rather than Spring 2015.
