Profile Dominique McGovern

A sense of social justice was one of the reasons Dominique McGovern became a solicitor.

Since joining Equilaw in January this year Dominique has assisted her clients get their lives back on track after being hurt in a range of incidents.

Dominique says helping people get on with their life can be quite complex and labour intensive, which, from a professional perspective, makes them a challenge.

“I am required to communicate with the various parties from the clients to medical practitioners and experts, to the insurance companies.”
Practicing law in the country has been quite interesting for Dominique where she has handled cases ranging from incidents involving rodeo bulls and horses to misadventures on mines and farms with machinery and quad bikes.

Dominique works closely with members of the insurance team and directly reports to Daniel Morgan who has extensive experience in this field.
