Our Principal, Tim Hayter, recently returned from a family holiday to Gnaraloo.
To quote from www.gnaraloo.com/about
“Gnaraloo is a working pastoral station and wilderness tourism business, located next to the Ningaloo Marine Park.
Approximately 150 kilometers north of Carnarvon, in Western Australia, Gnaraloo comprises a 90,000 hectare area, with approximately 65 kilometers of coastline!”
Tim together with his wife Nat and two sons stayed at 3 Mile Camp at Gnaraloo. The family enjoyed surfing, fishing, swimming and snorkelling. Gnaraloo Bay was fantastic for the children to enjoy the warm days.
Tim’s mother, Liz Hayter, also joined the family for the trip. Liz spent her younger years at Exmouth Gulf Station and enjoyed getting back to the North-West to reminisce on her childhood days.
It was great to see the area receive some much needed rainfall during the holiday, even though it meant for some stormy camping conditions.
Overall it was a great family getaway to the Western Australia’s North-West region.
