Please pray the following Prayer for Transition of Clergy Leadership as part of your daily devotions:
"Almighty God, giver of every good gift, look graciously on your Church and so guide the minds of those who shall choose an Interim Priest and a Vicar for this congregation that we may receive a faithful pastor who will care for your people and equip us for our ministries; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen"
VICAR CANDIDATE INTERVIEW
The Episcopal Diocese in Colorado has a protocol for candidate interviews. It involves a need for confidentiality in many aspects. One of those is that during the onsite interview, the church members should not have any contact with the candidate. Your Bishop’s Committee Community will be spending two days with the candidate in a variety of activities. Please understand that during the following dates and times there will be restrictions to preserve the level of confidentiality that the Diocese requests of us:
Thursday, August 22 10 am - Noon
The following areas are not available to church members:
The Church building itself, Kildare Room, Farm House and all of the Grounds including garden, labyrinth, memorial garden, and the entire property.

Friday, August 23 9 am - 3:30 pm
The following areas are not available to church members:
The Church building, Sanctuary, Kildare Room, Oak Room.
The BCC also wants you to know that Eileen Bisgard, Parish Administrator, will be participating in the tour of the facility as well as the meals that we will be having with the candidate. While Eileen is not a member of the BCC, she can explain a number of areas of the church and the community to the candidate during the tours and meals. She will not be rating or voting on the candidate and will also be keeping the same confidentiality about the person as the members of the BCC. PLEASE do not ask her for her opinions about the candidate….this puts her in an awkward and difficult position that is not fair to her or to the candidate. We know you will understand.
PRAYER FOR GUIDANCE
"O, God, by whom the meek are guided in judgement and light rises up in darkness for the godly; Grant us, in all our doubts and uncertainties, the grace to ask what you would have us to do, that the Spirit of Wisdom may save us from all false choices, and that in your light we may see light and in your straight path may not stumble; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen"
Please remember your BCC members in prayer : Laura Lewis, Megan Hawkins, Susan Kirmaier, Paul Kelly, Nancy Trubee, Peg Nelson
On Friday, 8/23 the Healing Prayer Team will be praying off site throughout the day of the interview and the Eucharist Service with the candidate. Thank you to the Prayer Team for this gift.
