Hello Whirlie Family!
Thank you to all the families who joined us for our first General PTSA meeting & Walk the Schedule this past week. We were able to vote on our Executive Board and pass the budget for the 22/23 school year.  As I said at our meeting, I truly feel that parent involvement is a vital key for making schools successful.  When students see their parents & guardians making an investment in their school, they will want to follow that example.  Please mark your calendar for November 7th at 5:30 PM to join us for our next Board meeting and see how you can get involved.
Our longstanding, friendly rivalry with Page High School is coming soon.  Sunday, October 2nd is the deadline to register for the Grimsley/Page Rivalry Tennis for Teachers Tournament.  Please see the information below for all the details about this event or contact Jill Moore directly.
Lastly, Our Whirlie Way Campaign is working hard to reach our $20,000 goal.  If you would like to be a corporate sponsor read below about the different levels and advantages of being a Whirlie White, Twister Blue, or 1899 Society level sponsor.  If you are interested in becoming a Corporate Sponsor or would like more information, contact Christina at
I hope Hurricane Ian was kind to you.  My prayers go out to the people in Florida and along the coastal regions of Georgia and the Carolinas.
We Are Whirlies!

PTSA President
