For All Webmasters

Introducing Adventist Media's new website creator - Adventist Place (replacing the interim Simple Church  platform established after the division ceased to support the netAdventist platform last year).
Designed especially for smaller churches, schools and missions without a tech savvy webmaster, Adventist Place is a fully subsidised, easy-to-use website creator for any officially recognised Adventist entity within the SPD.  More Info.

Calling Filmmakers (please share the word)

Are you 18-25, attending a tirtiary institute, or recently graduated (within last 2 years), with an interest in filmaking?  Students around the world are invited to creatively express in one minute or less, what mission means in their lives. More info for this competition (entries close August 31) at under notices.

Victorian Adventists is appealing to church members to help us share the good news.  We will be promoting in the lead up to the evangelistic campaign in 2019 and the best way for us to increase our reach is for our church members to commit to following our page, choosing the see first option, and then liking the posts, sharing them, commenting...  The more activity we can generate, the further our presence will be felt.
If you can think of other ways that will help us, let us know.  And please try to come up with ways of getting your church members involved in this.
Who knew that being a part of evangelism could be as simple as liking and sharing? #victorianadventists

Share It...

Sometimes it feels that, with so many different ways of reaching people, it is nearly impossible to reach everyone.  So we have set up this email for anyone in a church office that involve communication or digital media of any kind... photographers, social media team, audiovisual team, bulletin and communication secretaries...  Please share this link with anyone you think may be interested and encourage them to subscribe.  click on the share link at the bottom of this email or copy and paste this  LINK

Livestream Your Church

Has your church considered it?
One of our Frankston church members, works in the industry and is offering free advice to churches as well as a promotion through to the end of July, for churches wanting to stream a special event such as a guest speaker or a baptism.

So if this is something your church has been considering, click  HERE  to see what he has to offer, by way of showing you how easy it could be and in support of your church mission.

Communication Secretaries (and anyone else who likes to write!)

An important part of IntraVic is sharing the inspiring things happening in our local churches.  God is at work in our community, and sharing the stories of what is happening, and the testimonies of people touched, will encourage others to keep living for Him.  Traditionally it is the communication secretary who sends things in... but that has dropped off in recent years.
So this is a reminder to local communication secretaries and to anyone who likes to write, please, share what is happening with the wider church community.
  • approx 300 words
  • images - up to 3 - high resolution and if minors are in the images, permission from their parents/guardians for use in print, web and social media
  • dont be too worried about grammar - we can sort that!
Deadlines and contact details are inside the front cover of IntraVic.
And please give your feed back too, if you can think of ways to improve IntraVic and make it relevant, let us know...
Interested in learning more about how to utilise your own or your Church's social media platforms for sharing Christ more?

We are needing your help for the production of the 2019 Conference Calendar.  Themes will be similar to the 2018 calendar, revolving around mission, local church ministry areas and conference events.
So have a flip through the 2018 calendar and then get creative.  Send your submissions to us and include confirmation that the subjects are ok (or their parents are) for their photo to be used by Victorian Adventist Communications ( in print, digital media, social media), the names of the subjects, what theme does the image match and your name and church (for credit purposes).

Podcasts and Live Streaming

Does your church create podcasts or stream your church services?
We would like to create a bank of podcasts from our churches for people to access, so please contact us if you do and we can discuss it further.
Additionally we have set up a hub where viewers can choose from a number of churches which are livestreaming their services every Sabbath morning.  So if you livestream, please Email us with the link and a quality photo of your church and we may  be able to get some more viewers for you!
