District Championship Results

Over the weekend the team competed at the New England District Championships. At this event the team ranked 46th out of 64 having won 5 matches and lost 7. We did not go on to the playoffs but we had a lot of fun. We won the Judge's Award and talked to Governor Baker and State Senator Chandler. You can read more about these below.
During the playoffs Governor Baker, State Senator Harriette Chandler, and WPI President Laurie Leshin visited us in the pits. We talked to them about our robot and everything our team does throughout the year.
In this picture Adam is explaining how the robot works to our special guests.
After the excitement of our guests visiting us in the pits we watched the finals and then during the awards ceremony our team was presented with the Judge's Award. This is what the judges had to say:
During the course of the competition, the judging panel encounters teams whose unique efforts, performance, or dynamics merit recognition yet do not fit into any of the existing award categories. Today, the Judges have defined the following special award as a Judges' Award for one such deserving team.

Most teams focus on raising funds for their own team. This team gives their all to advocating in their state to allocate funds to support many FIRST teams. And they teach other FRC teams to do the same in their home states. Te reaper doesn't come silently, they make it loud. For SNEAC-ing into action, the award goes to team number team 1735, the Green Reapers.
The team is very excited for winning this award. Unfortunately it wasn't enough for us to qualify to go to Worlds. That does not mean it is the end of the season for us. We have many more events coming up in the next few months, look at our events calendar below to find out more.

The goal is to make it easier to find the part you need without having to visit dozens of different websites.
