Thank you to all involved in the 2021 Scottish Rural Parliament!

Despite April snow for some of us, spring is definitely here and Scottish Rural Action is looking forward to the future of rural and Island Scotland following an incredibly inspirational virtual Scottish Rural Parliament.

The 2021 Virtual Scottish Rural Parliament

The 2021 Scottish Rural Parliament has come to an end and we would like to thank the over 500 of you all who attended to share your story, learn and influence change.  We would also like to thank the near 100 organisations that contributed to delivery of the Parliament that worked hard to make the event a success.
If you missed any of the sessions, recordings are available via the event portal until May 31st 2021 and will shortly be uploaded to the Scottish Rural Action website.

Scottish Rural Action is now working, alongside Scottish Islands Federation, curators and partners, to collate the information gathered from each session into a Manifesto for Rural and Island Scotland.

Covid-19 Rural Reference Group Report Launched

The online surveys on Covid-19 that Scottish Rural Action conducted in May and August last year captured a national picture which you can read about here. Following the surveys, we then established the SRA Covid-19 Local Reference Group to add a local and personal dimension to some of the themes around resilience and recovery that had emerged from the surveys. We would like to thank the individuals who shared their stories with us and are so excited to be able to launch the findings. Find out more and read the full report here.
