Add your workshop or presentation to the 2015 Conference program

Call for Workshops

2nd International CIP Conference, Amsterdam

At the CIP Conference in Amsterdam on Friday 3 July 2015 we will feature a number of 90-minute workshops. The aim of these workshops is to provide a forum for researchers and practitioners in risk management, crisis management, risk communication, crisis communication and other domains related to the CIP framework.

With these workshops we want to enable discussion and exchange of knowledge, expertise and ideas on current and emergent topics amongst the conference attendees. A workshop or presentation can address any specific or general challenge. Our aim is that workshop organizers and attendees establish common grounds in practical issues or research areas, while identifying new directions for collaboration and future activity.

Although we do welcome proposals for presenting relevant cases, methodologies and any kind of research, preference will be given to workshop settings that favor highly interactive participant discussions or collaboration.

Efforts of workshop organizers are highly appreciated, but considered as normal engaged participant activity and, therefore, on a voluntary basis. Being selected for presenting a workshop does not waive the presenters’ conference registration fee. However, workshop organizers gain the opportunity to work on relevant topics with international colleague experts in an inspiring environment. Workshop presenters are also part of the official conference program amongst top-notch international keynote speakers. And finally, the results of these workshops are regarded as conference proceedings and may be adopted in the CIP Institute's knowledge platform, where the workshop presenters are mentioned as authors.
Are you interested in adding your workshop or presentation to the Amsterdam Conference program? Don’t hesitate to read more information below and submit your proposal.
