Monday, December 5th at 7:30PM with post-film discussion
Co-presented by The Southern Arizona Psychological Association and The Loft

"Keith Maitland’s documentary Tower (playing at The Loft, December 5th at 7:30PM) tells the story of the sniper attack that took place at the University of Texas at Austin on August 1, 1966, an event that is widely identified as the first modern mass shooting," writes Richard Brody,The New Yorker.

Stay after the film to hear stories of change and healing that the making of the movie has brought to many including Claire Wilson James, whose story is the emotional fulcrum of the film; her sister, local psychologist, Dr. Lucy Wilson; and film producer, Hillary Pierce. The post film discussion is co-presented by The Southern Arizona Psychological Association and The Loft.

Tower is more than a moving story. It’s also an award winning documentary that’s been recognized for its creative combination of historical footage, rotoscope animation and live interviews.

Bilge Eberi writes in the Village Voice, “Words can't do justice to the singular power of Keith Maitland's documentary Tower."

Advance tickets can be purchased at The Loft.
