Client: lilitab
Project: Brochure Design + Copywriting

We wrote and designed a new tri-fold brochure for lilitab to serve as a product overview piece at a tradeshow in San Francisco. The design was influenced by the new website's look-and-feel, incorporating bright solid colors and collaged imagery. The new design also prompted new business cards seen here.

Did you know that there are 288 wearable tech devices on the marketing right now? From smart watches to biomedical sensors to fitness trackers and multifunction jewelry, it seems every industry is getting on the wearable tech bandwagon. All these products are changing how we interact with technology, information and even our own bodies. And they will certainly change the way we design. Once only seen in sci-fi cinema, innovative thinkers/designers are prototyping real-world wearable tech that is truly right out of the movies. I look forward to those products that think outside the box and use technology in positive ways to make this world a better place.

Draw a lobster on your sister's shin or a Viking on your best friend's elbow with this drawing game where players' skin is the canvas. Players choose a Doodle card, a Body card and the player they want to "ink," then the others race to guess what the "tattoo" is and earn points for guessing and drawing. Awarded Game of the Year (2014) by Creative Child Magazine, Body Doodles is perfect for play dates, babysitters, birthday parties, sleepovers or any time a group wants to be creative (temporary) tattoo artists.

We all know that stress can deplete your health. Want to melt your stress away at the end of a busy day? Then close your eyes and listen to this song. In a study, a group of UK scientists have gotten together and clinically determined the most relaxing song ever made. The track, titled 'Weightless' performed by a Manchester-based band Marconi Union, was described as "even more relaxing than a massage, walk or cup of tea." Lyz Cooper, founder of the British Academy for Sound Therapy, worked with the band to create the song, which she described as "ideal for putting on at the end of a stressful day and unwinding." The song makes use of many musical principles that have been shown to individually have a calming effect. The harmonic intervals — or gaps between notes — have been chosen to create a feeling of euphoria and comfort. And there is no repeating melody, which allows your brain to completely switch off because you are no longer trying to predict what is coming next.

Artist: Boards of Canada
Album: Tomorrow's Harvest

Tomorrow's Harvest is the fourth studio album by the Scottish electronic music duo Boards of Canada. Dark shadings and ominous textures have largely replaced the more pastoral atmospherics of earlier releases. The tone of these tracks suggests sinister forces hovering behind the facades of a futuristic cityscape. There are lighter moments but mostly moody pieces. Makes me think Blade Runner.

Here are some fun facts about spring:

• Children grow faster during the Spring.

• The first Spring flower to bloom is often the dandelion. The flower was originally from Asia and can be used as food and medicine.

• Spring fever is real! In the Spring, when the temperature rises, blood vessels expand and some people get an energetic feeling.

• Spring cleaning may date back from the Persian New Year with a practice called "Khoneh Tekouni" or "Shaking the House". Or it could come from the ancient Jewish cleaning of the house in preparation for Pesach.

• Spring is time for love and new beginnings. It is the symbol of rebirth.
