Client: EatwellRx
Project: Identity + Collateral

We designed a new logo for EatwellRx as well as develop their visual guidelines to help produce their online presence plus tradeshow collateral, including a sellsheet and a retractable banner. We also illustrated a flowchart to better explain their software process. You can view more images from the project here.

A pictogram is an image that represents an object. Pictograms are useful for conveying information through a common "visual language" able to be understood regardless of one's native language or degree of literacy. So that means that anyone in the world familiar with a drinking fountain should recognize the pictogram here. This pictogram is part of an entire system of signage symbols developed by the United States Department of Transportation to help manage the flow of large numbers of people through transportation hubs. To encourage their adoption world-wide, the symbols were made available for free. The American Institute of Graphic Arts played a pivotal role in the design and development of these symbols.

With the environment in the hot seat, we all need to do our part to recycle, reduce and reuse. A great way to start in your home is to stop using paper products, including napkins. Consider buying or even sewing your own cloth napkins. Choose a fabric that is machine washable to make your life easier. Buy at least a dozen extra to make sure you have some on hand between wash loads.

Nothing makes you feel better than a warm bowl of soup on a cold winter day. And there's no better soup to have in winter than one that has winter vegetables in it! Check out this hearty winter-vegetable soup recipe from Martha Stewart. It's full of potatoes, leeks, butternut squash, and escarole. How can you go wrong!

Artist: Coldplay
Album: Head Full of Dreams

Possibly their last album, Head Full of Dreams is emblematic of Coldplay’s burning desire to be all things to all people, rolling up symphonic Britpop bluster, club-thumping bangers, dentist-office soft rock, finger-snapping R&B, and even some trippy touches. Nearly every song is about ascension and transcendence, be it through intoxicants, rocket ships, out-of-body experiences, large ocean waves, rooftop stargazing, winged creatures, or just sheer force of will. I do hope this isn't their last aldum together.

Ever wonder why the @ sign is used in emails? Raymond Samuel Tomlinson is a US programmer who implemented an email system in 1971 on the ARPANET. It was the first system able to send mail between users on different hosts connected to the ARPAnet. Previously, mail could be sent only to others who used the same computer. To achieve this, he used the @ sign to separate the user from their machine, which has been used in email addresses ever since.
