Enriching Field Trips

Students loved our weekly field trips! This summer, students got to get out and experience the Jelly Belly Factory, Calskate, a variety of parks including Golden Gate Park, TrainTown, Epicenter, bowling, Scandia, Golden Gate Bridge and Pier 39.

One fourth grader shared, "Calskate was my favorite because I like skating, games, and food."

More than 50% of the youth we serve are from low income or very low income families. We’re proud to give all children unique and memorable learning experiences that last a lifetime.

Supporting Working Families

We provide affordable childcare to essential workers and reduced fees to low income families so that parents and guardians can stay in the workforce, advance their careers and/or attend school. Our case managers refer families in need to this essential service.

In our recent survey, more than 95% of Child Development Program parents/guardians agreed that having their child enrolled at NMCS has made it easier for them to either accept a job, keep a job, or advance their education.

100% of surveyed parents/guardians are satisfied or very satisfied with our Child Development Program!
Now Enrolling for Fall!

COVID-19 Response

Thanks to your support and the support of others, we were able to serve 11,305 people in need from March 16, 2020 through June 30, 2021 with basic needs such as food, emergency rental assistance, mental health care, youth enrichment and more. Our work continues.

Please feel free to enjoy this presentation that NMCS CEO, Cheryl Paddack, and Director of Wellness Programs, Alaina Cantor, gave for the Marin Law Library to learn more about our current initiatives.
