Welcome to our latest newsletter. We'd like to sum up what has been happening at The PMA.
AGM and National Mediation Awards 2015
We would like to thank all of those who contributed to the AGM and National Mediation Awards last month at Browns Courtrooms, Covent Garden on 24th September 2015. Well done to all of those who won awards and were commended for their achievements!  
 
The Annual General Meeting kicked off the National Mediation Awards last month. David Liddle gave the latest information and updates from the PMA.
David spoke of the new Accreditation System that was put into place this summer and how the scheme has now been set up and has had a great response from people wanting to gain accreditation from The Professional Mediators' Association.

We'd like to thank  Peter Monaghan from ACAS whom gave an informative speech on “ACAS - Early Conciliation, Productivity and the Workplace”. Peter discussed how nationally we need to do more in terms of employment engagement to ensure that staff well-being is not compromised and that it is “looked-After” which in turn will lead to greater productivity in the workplace.

BIG NEWS!

PMA Chair David Liddle is stepping down from his role of Chair and day-to-day leader of the PMA with effect from 31st March 2016.

This means that the PMA are looking for a New Chair and New Board Members! This is a fantastic opportunity to become integrated into the central and national world of Mediation.

We need committed and dedicated people to give their time and resources to take the PMA to the next level.

We are opening up applications to everybody, even those who have applied before. We encourage interests from other regions, the PMA doesn't have to necessarily be London based. This is a National search for New PMA Board Members.
