Why ST36 is the SHIT!  (Ancient Bio-Hack)
Just to give you a sneak peak of what to expect in Diva Digestion, I have to tell you about the acupuncture point Stomach 36.  Zu San Li (ST36) is called "the point of longevity" in China and "the point of 100 diseases" in Japan.

It is believed, massaging this point, daily, improves:

-The function of the gastrointestinal tract, (esophagus, stomach, small intestine, large intestine, rectum and anus)
-Anxiety and management of stress
-Gut inflammation
-Weight loss
-Hiccups, too

How to find ST36 and what to do with it when you find it.
1. With your feet flat on the ground, place your left hand on the left knee, right hand on right knee, fingers pointing down.

2. Notice where your ring finger falls...under the ring finger past the bump (bone) there's an indentation. If you raise your toes, you'll feel that indentation rise and fall. That indentation is the ST36 point.

3. With the index and/or middle finger massage this point, clockwise nine times, on both sides. The amount of pressure is up to you. Depending on the person, this point can be tender and soft or solid as a brick with little sensation, whatsoever. It can, also, be anywhere between the two.

Practiced regularly, ST36 will start to feel warm, springy, and with increased sensitivity, you'll feel a pulse.

Where and when to massage ST36? As long as you can find a place to sit, with your feet flat on the floor and take a moment (dare I say two) to breathe, you can do this massage at your desk, on the couch, in a chair...even on the toilet. (Hey, why not?) Preferably, in the morning before eating. Before bed is fine, unless you have insomnia.
