The next TummyLove self-care video is
(Throw your hands up in the air and shake'm like you just don't care!)
Thank you to everyone that voted via email, Facebook and Instagram. Your participation was appreciated and awesome. Vibrant V came in at a close second with My V-Steam last. All three will be produced in the order of popularity. Yay!
The next step is creating a roster of the most efficient techniques to get you to a point of digesting like a Diva. Techniques will include:
-and Ancient Bio-Hacks like Acupressure
The differences you'll see and feel while using the techniques you've learned from Diva Digestion...
-A flatter tummy with improved muscle tone
Of course, there is no substitute for exercise and a whole food based diet. Let's keep it practical AND optimistic, people!
-Healthy, vibrant skin, hair, nails and eyes. The external manifestation of better absorption of nutrients and energy from your food.
-Poo that looks like poo instead of a finely chopped, tossed salad in the toilet bowl - (Just keeping it real, yo.)
-Lighter from less bloating, belching and gas
-More clear and energetic, because better digestion equals better absorption of nutrients in your food and any expensive supplements you may take. You'll finally get your money's worth!
-More present; the organs we'll target are considered the Earth-center of our being in Traditional Chinese Medicine. With clearing energetic and physical blockages, everything flows more smoothly, including old, stuck emotions that have accumulated in our bodies. We're going to say "bye-bye" to the blocks, knots and tangles in our gut that keep us anxious and rehashing the past, to be fully in the present.
I imagine you have question or two.
Please, do submit any questions you've been burning to ask about this topic. I'll make sure to address them in the video.
Why ST36 is the SHIT! (Ancient Bio-Hack)
Just to give you a sneak peak of what to expect in Diva Digestion, I have to tell you about the acupuncture point Stomach 36. Zu San Li (ST36) is called "the point of longevity" in China and "the point of 100 diseases" in Japan.
It is believed, massaging this point, daily, improves:
-The function of the gastrointestinal tract, (esophagus, stomach, small intestine, large intestine, rectum and anus)
-Anxiety and management of stress
How to find ST36 and what to do with it when you find it.
1. With your feet flat on the ground, place your left hand on the left knee, right hand on right knee, fingers pointing down.
2. Notice where your ring finger falls...under the ring finger past the bump (bone) there's an indentation. If you raise your toes, you'll feel that indentation rise and fall. That indentation is the ST36 point.
3. With the index and/or middle finger massage this point, clockwise nine times, on both sides. The amount of pressure is up to you. Depending on the person, this point can be tender and soft or solid as a brick with little sensation, whatsoever. It can, also, be anywhere between the two.
Practiced regularly, ST36 will start to feel warm, springy, and with increased sensitivity, you'll feel a pulse.
Where and when to massage ST36? As long as you can find a place to sit, with your feet flat on the floor and take a moment (dare I say two) to breathe, you can do this massage at your desk, on the couch, in a chair...even on the toilet. (Hey, why not?) Preferably, in the morning before eating. Before bed is fine, unless you have insomnia.

OK, sassy folk, this email was a little longer than I had anticipated...hopefully you'll find it's worth the length of its words.
