Dear friends and fellow laborers,
We greet you once again by the grace of God! We apologize for any confusion in the email system, as some of you have not been properly receiving the letters. We did not send an update in May, which also may have been confusing, since we normally write every month.
Since our last letter, we have been having our usual summer struggles: severe storms, mechanical breakdowns, and great difficulty in making contacts and scheduling new meetings. In spite of the enemy's efforts to discourage and distract us, we are remaining faithful in visiting new churches in this area, making calls, and seeking the Lord's guidance and provision. We thank you for your faithful prayers and support, and do not mean to complain, but to help you know how to pray for us. We did have some good meetings in Indiana and Kansas, for which we are thankful!
We have a few meetings scheduled over the upcoming months, even though most churches are swamped with summer activities not missions-related. We are continuing to work from our temporary base in central Kansas, and reaching out into the adjacent states. Our current schedule takes us back south in the fall and winter, and we are working to arrange more meetings around what we have.
Please pray with us that the Lord will provide the additional support necessary so that we can move to Romania in the spring of 2017. Also for safety in travel, that the Lord will enable us to get more meetings scheduled, and that more of the churches where we have presented the ministry will partner with us. Thank you all for your continued prayer and financial support, without which we would not be moving forward.
Serving the King of Kings,
The Reed Family
