The Reed Family, Missionaries to the people of Romania
"Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach ...the unsearchable riches of Christ;" Ephesians 3:8
November 14, 2015
Dear friends and fellow laborers,
Greetings from the (mostly) sunny South! We've been enjoying Texas, despite the aggressive bug population and crazy traffic. We're staying in Texas through the winter, trying to save the RV from the effects of bad weather as much as we can.
Since our last letter, we have been in 3 full weeks of missions conferences in Houston and Austin, along with presenting our ministry at a church near Fort Worth, and visiting a few other churches not scheduled. Visiting unscheduled churches is a hit-and-miss sort of proposition: one church gave us a nice love offering and wants to schedule us to come back before February; at another, the pastor resigned the day we decided to visit. On the plus side, we had two new churches partner with us this month, bringing us to about 52% of our needed funding!
We are taking advantage of the sparse winter schedule to work on lining up meetings for next year. We are also taking this opportunity to do some more repairs to the RV, study our Romanian, and make plans for the field. We got some location advice from Brent Logan, and found it fits exactly changes Adam Zander is making! We praise the Lord for unity in the ministry!
Please continue to pray for us: for safety in travel, that the Lord will enable us to get more meetings scheduled, and that more of the churches where we have presented the ministry will partner with us. Thank you all for your continued prayer and financial support, without which we would not be moving forward.
Serving the King of Kings,
The Reed Family
