-SAT Day scores are due to release on November 19th. You can access them through your child's CollegeBoard account.

-If you haven't already done so, please set up your FamilyPortal accounts using the attached directions. This allows you to keep up with your child's grades and attendance. Additionally, the Admissions department has totally integrated their forms and applications into FamilyPortal, so when re-enrollment season comes around, you'll need to access FamilyPortal to submit any necessary paperwork. Please contact Dean McKaughan or Michelle Blackburn if you have any trouble accessing FamilyPortal.

Directions for Accessing Family Portal

FACTS Management gives you, the busy parent, an opportunity to get more involved in your child’s academic progress and future success – all via the Internet!

FACTS Family Portal is a private and secure parents’ portal that will allow parents to view academic information specific to their children, while protecting their children’s information from others. You may view your child’s grades, attendance, homework and conduct, as well as other useful school information. You can also communicate with teachers and other school staff online whenever necessary.

Here’s how to access our easy-to-use Family Online:

· In Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Internet Explorer go to and click Parent Login, then select FACTS Family Portal (ParentsWeb).

· Type the school's District Code: OR-NC

· Click Create New Family Portal Account.

· Type your email address and click Create Account. An email will be sent which includes a link to create your login. The link is active for 6 hours.

· From the email, click the link to create your Family Portal (ParentsWeb) login.

· A web browser displays your Name and FACTS SIS Person ID.

· Type a User Name, Password, and Confirm the password.

· Click Save User Name and/or Password. A message displays at the top of the browser, "User Name/Password successfully updated."

· You may now log in to Family Portal using your new user name and password.

· Family Portal allows you to access:

o Student attendance and daily grades

o Progress reports

o Homework

Boys Varsity 78

The Boys Varsity team improved to 2 – 0 with a 12 point victory. The Cadets came out hot early and built an early lead. The cushion remained around 10 most of the way until the end of the 3rd quarter where the Cadets stretched the lead out to a high of 21. The Cadets had much better balance of scoring in the game as 4 players reached double figures. David McKoy led the Cadets with 27 points and 13 rebounds. Ben Whitaker had a career high of 21 points for the Cadets, Caleb Woodall had 14 and Jordan Spivey had 12. The Cadets travel to New Garden Friends High School on Thursday. The game tips at 7:00 PM.

Boys JV 48

Carolina Baptist 32

The JV Boys improved to 2-0 with the 16 point victory. Anders and Sanders led the way for the Cadets as Anders Mitchell had 18 points and Gavin Sanders had 17. Tate Aycock had 4 points to go with the team leading 10 rebounds. Cesar Deporto had his first career points as he hit a late 3 pointer. The Cadets will be looking to shore up their defense this week in practice.

ORMA Girls 56

New Garden 10

The Girls improved to 2 – 0 with a dominant victory over New Garden Friends by a score of 56-10. Skyler Dudley scored a career high of 10 points to go with 8 rebounds and 5 steals. Sophia Turner had 8 points for the Cadets and Alexis Conway had her first career points as she netted a basket in the 4th quarter. The Girls will be home on Tuesday against Triad Math & Science Academy on Tuesday, November 16, 2021.

ORMA Boys 43

New Garden 45

The Boys dropped their 1st game of the year as a late 3 point attempt fell just off the mark. The game was close throughout as both teams struggled from the field. Caleb Woodall had 13 points and Ben Whitaker had 8 points for the Cadets in the losing effort. The Boys will host Triad Math & Science Academy on Tuesday, November 16, 2021.

Friday November 12th promotions were held in front of Alumni Hall. The Cadets work hard to achieve rank within the Corps. Promotions are when their hard work pays off.

The Veterans Day ceremony was held on November 11th. The Battalion Commander Augsburger and Command Sergeant Major Lewis placed a wreath at the foot of the flagpole to commemorate those that served in the armed forces. President Dr. Steve Wilson spoke briefly at the ceremony.
