Matching Donations for Robertson Scholarship

Alumnus and former board member Tony Robertson passed away in March of this year. Tony was a great friend, not only to our Academy, but also to the many people whose lives he touched. Tony’s wife, Carol, has set up a scholarship in Tony’s name and recently an alumnus who played baseball with Tony has agreed to “match” any funds from former players and friends up to $10,000.

We ask that you please consider this donation understanding that any amount up to $10,000 would be doubled. Our scholarship committee works extremely hard to award scholarships only to those who are truly in need of financial assistance. For those of you who have IRA Required Distributions, this would be a great opportunity for you and for our Academy to reap maximum rewards. We hope you will consider this opportunity to help.

The Gold Tour Military Ball

The Military Ball was held in Bonner Fieldhouse on April 30, 2022. The theme for the Ball was The Gold Tour. 1SG McCullough and the Cadets spent several days transforming Bonner into an elegant display of the white and gold decorations. The maintenance crew worked hard to do the heavy lifting for the Ball; the picture above shows them taking a well deserved break. The entire Corps of Cadets participated in the event. The color guard posted the colors at the beginning of the night. The saber team performed and provided an arch for the Seniors to be presented to the attendees. Pepper Moon Catering provided dinner for the ball. We are thankful to the parent who paid for the catering, freeing up money for decorations and rental fees. The Corps chose C/LT1 Maxwell Jolay as Ball King, Gareila Perez as Ball Queen, and Tavaus Gray as Court Jester. The Cadets had a great time dancing the night away.
