Rise Against Hunger is growing a global movement to end Hunger by empowering communities, nourishing lives, and responding to emergencies. Rise Against Hunger focuses its feeding programs in areas where we can have a real impact and expand its hunger-fighting programs beyond meal packaging and distribution.
ORMA Cadet's started this project in the school year 2013-2014. TheCadets meet the goal established in 2019 of 40,000 meals. Each meal pack feeds up to 8 individuals. The seniors worked both shifts in order to complete as many community service hours as possible for this event.
