| It's the Wednesday Email!Dear Church- The office is closed for the rest of the week as both I and Linda go off for Thanksgiving (I’m actually already out of the office and en route to Chicago). Thanks to everyone who contributed to the success of pies, of annual meeting, of last night’s Thanksgiving worship, and of the pre-greening of the sanctuary. This Sunday is your chance to refresh your memory of what all those things in the sanctuary mean and why we hang them in Advent. It’s always a special service and chance for everyone to participate in both worship and education. Until then, rejoice, give thanks, and sing! Grace, and Peace, Pastor Nathan

| | This week’s scripture reminds us that we all have gifts of the spirit. Sometimes they are hidden, and sometimes they come to the fore. As we head into annual meeting, we are looking for people with gifts for creative worship, for education, for service and outreach, and for fellowship to serve as deacons for the next two years. Sue and Stephanie have done an able job as a duo since February, but we are believe church is better when we can host more diverse temperments and talents in our lives of discipleship! |
