Recovery, Restoration and Release from the nightmare of human trafficking.

We had four projects lined out for the work day:
     1. Laying sod (top left photo). The grass is rooting in and doing great!
     2. Planting green island ficus along the entry way to the house (top right photo). They will take a while to root in, but will fill out and create a lush, low-maintenance entry area.
     3. Painting the house and trim (bottom left photo). We got about 80% of the painting done, and have another work crew coming in July to finish this.
     4. We removed a broken up concrete walk-way to prepare for a new walk made of pavers to be installed in the next couple months.
     5. We ended the day in a neighbor's pool to cool off and relax before heading home (bottom right photo)!

Thanks Camp Identify - Students, Counselors, Staff and Planners for an amazingly productive and redemptive day!!!!

Stay Tuned!
Brigitte Sylvester, at Moody Radio, interviewed Laura and Becky for an upcoming segment for "South Florida Summer of Service" on volunteering! The focus is on the Hepzibah House and how volunteers can get involved. We will keep you posted on when the segment will air...

Check this out!! What are the photos about in the above image?? They are hotel rooms, AND potential crime scenes for individuals trafficking underage minors. TraffickCam, a free smart phone app, enables regular mortals to help combat sex trafficking by uploading photos of the hotel rooms you stay in when you travel.

Traffickers regularly post photographs of their victims posed in hotel rooms for online advertisements. These photographs are evidence that can be used to find and prosecute the perpetrators of these crimes. In order to use these photos, however, investigators must be able to determine where the photos were taken.

The purpose of TraffickCam is to create a database of hotel room images that an investigator can efficiently search, in order to find other images that were taken in the same location as an image that is part of an investigation.

TraffickCam was created in 2015 by the Exchange Initiative. The Exchange Initiative is committed to combating commercial sexual exploitation of children (CSEC). Their mission is to provide resources, information and networking solutions to combat sex trafficking in the United States.
